Order your Repeat Prescription

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered by using the tear-off slip attached to your prescription. You can request the prescription in the following ways:

  • IN PERSON: Hand in your request to the surgery at reception, or post in the letterbox if the surgery is closed.
  • POST: Post your prescriptions to: The Prescription Desk, Maryfield Medical Centre, 28 Mains Loan, Dundee, DD4 7AA. We can post prescriptions back to you if you provide a self stamped addressed envelope.
  • E-MAIL: e-mail your prescription request to
  • ONLINE SERVICES: request your repeat prescription using Patient Online Services. You can sign up for our online services. Please visit

Seasonal Influenza 

Appointments are now available for patients who are 60 or over, or have a long term health condition. You can also get a flu vaccine if you are shielding, or if someone in your household is shielding. Please book your appointment by contacting reception on 01382462292.

The NHS Scotland Test & Protect service has been introduced to control the spread of coronavirus as lockdown measures are eased. Everyone has a part to play. Find out more at #TestandProtect


During the Coronavirus outbreak, we will not be offering pre-bookable appointments and will be operating a triage system for patients who feel they need to be seen. Our trained Reception team will take some details from you and a clinician will call you back within 4 hours.


Repeat Prescriptions: Please do not come to the surgery to collect your prescription. Telephone and speak to reception who can arrange for prescriptions to go to your nominated chemist. Please try to make use of our online repeat prescription service. 

If you have symptoms of Coronavirus please DO NOT come to the surgery.

Online Patient Services - To ensure patient safety during the Coronavirus outbreak, we have temporarily suspended online appointment booking. If you wish to be seen by a healthcare professional please call the practice on 01382 462292.

Be aware of Scamming activity related to the Coronavirus outbreak. In order to keep yourself safe from this please be aware of the following –

 We will not telephone you regarding Coronavirus unless you have called the practice first

 We will never ask for your financial details or passwords as part of any Coronavirus communications

 We will never ask you to ‘verify’, ‘update’ or ‘reactivate’ your account or anything like that

 Do not reply to a text message regarding Coronavirus

If you think you might have responded to a text message and/or provided your personal or financial details, contact your bank immediately

If you think you have received a call or text message related to Coronavirus that you think is fraudulent please refer to the Action Fraud website. [link]
